Convenient arrival by bus or e-bike
The summer bus takes you directly to the Laubbärgli (free of charge if you are staying overnight). The Laubbärgli is perfect for a short excursion to enjoy the wonderful mountain scenery. E-bikes are available at the Hotel Simmenhof, which you can use to reach the Berghaus, the Iffigenalp and all the surrounding hiking routes.

Okay, my real name is of course not “vom Laubbärgli” but Stephani…. and I can proudly call myself the new hut warden of the idyllic Laubbärgli mountain inn. It is a pleasure to welcome you to one of the most sought-after and popular “corners” of the Bernese Alps. Whether you are young or old, big or small, tourist or local.
As a seasoned “Bündner Berggeiss” with Solothurn roots, admittedly exported there over ten years ago, I know how to move in the majestic nature of the Alps just as nimbly as I do up or down the stairs in the Laubbärgli. I would like to share this enjoyment of the magnificent nature and the majestic landscape with a view of the Wildstrubel with you, as well as the exciting history of the hut, which dates back to 1848 and is therefore as old as our modern Switzerland. …and of course the small but delicious dishes and drinks that we provide.
I can also give you tips on great hikes to and from Laubbärgli or Lenk in general. You will find out where you can carve the best “Brätelstäcken” or perhaps see a chamois and you will always receive a friendly saying. When can I welcome you to the “Laubbärgli”?
