The Kulturhotel Kreuz is not only a place to encounter art, but also a stage for culture. Discover a unique place where the majestic Alps and the world of art meet. In cooperation with the Lenk Cultural Promotion Foundation, we regularly organize readings and art events. We are proud to be an integral part of Lenk’s cultural scene and to offer our guests and the residents of Lenk a cultural home.
A hotel with art history
Built in the 1980s, the Hotel Kreuz an der Lenk not only captures the alpine flair in the typical chalet style of the time, but also houses a unique art collection. The works of Lenk artist Gottfried Tritten (1923-2015), an important art teacher, characterize the interior. His paintings, which are exhibited in the rooms and premises, offer our guests an inspiring environment. The hotel’s color scheme pays homage to Tritten and reflects his artistic spirit.

Music Nights Lenk
On 7. and June 8, 2025, Lenk will become a stage for thrilling live music. The Music Nights Lenk promise an unforgettable weekend with concerts by Side Kick and The Hero, Vagante, Lexi, Sanaë Larina and JamesGray. In addition to the evening shows, there are also musical highlights for families – with John Hänni at Lenkerseeli and Wolfgang Schönenberger at the Hotel Wildstrubel.

Lenk Summer University
The Lenk Summer University looks back on a long history rich in tradition and always offers topical and interesting lectures and excursions with renowned speakers on current topics. An aperitif will be served after each presentation.
Duration of the presentations approx. 1 hour. Followed by a Q&A session and aperitif.

…the new music festival under the artistic direction of Daniel Woodtli in picturesque Lenk is so colorful and full of contrasts. The breathtaking backdrop of the Wildstrubel massif provides the perfect setting for the fusion of tradition and modernity. The alpine music festival brings together local and international artists to present an unforgettable sound experience with a good mix of alpine folklore, nature jutz and world music. The audience is invited to discover new sounds and experience regional culture surrounded by majestic mountains and lush alpine meadows.

LiteratureLenk
The Röstigraben n’existe pas.
Welcome to the first bilingual literature festival at Lenk in the picturesque Simmental valley! Since its premiere in 2022, this special event has brought together Swiss authors from German-speaking and French-speaking Switzerland. Here, the “Röstigraben” is overcome – on stage and in people’s minds.
The focus of the event is on mountain literature – thematically matching the majestic mountain world that frames the festival. Whether gripping readings, inspiring discussions or creative writing workshops – LiteratureLenk offers a varied mix for all those who love literature or are just beginning to explore it.
The festival’s main stage is the charming Hotel Kreuz in the village center, where most of the program takes place. Here, surrounded by a breathtaking Alpine backdrop, literature and nature merge in a very special way.
LiteratureLenk invites you not only to discover the world of books, but also to experience the powerful connection between text and landscape. Be there when literature and the mountains come together to create a unique experience!
Winter concert 2025
Warming sounds for the cold and quiet times
Spend a few beautiful winter days at Lenk and let us accompany you into the New Year!
The two exceptional musicians from the Allgäu and Cologne wowed audiences last summer at the “Klang am Grat” festival with a children’s and church concert, so much so that they were asked to return for this year’s winter concert. They skillfully combine classical music, jazz and folklore in an enchanting way, occasionally peppered with a pinch of mischief.
